Karen I have the same "issue" with Boon as you had with Webster. Boon prefers the other people! Why? Who knows. Novelty? They have better treats? It really isn't an issue why. Things that can help... YOU have the highest value treat give the "other person" boring kibble. And YOU run backwards to entice Webster ( each time walking back up into place when he leaves to go to the other person) Have the "other person stand still. And YOU repeat the rapid fire treats each time while the "other person" gives one treat and NO Eye contact. Play like this for a while and see if it doesn't help.
Also play hide and seek games with Web at home and play runaway when you have mentoring group. Have your husband at home or other person at mentoring HOLD Webster while you tease him a bit then run away ( at home run and hide) then call him AS YOU ARE RUNNING( after you are hidden at home) WHEN he is struggling to get to you THEN the person should let him go! This is a great exercise to make him WANT to get to you and FAST! It builds up your value as he has temporarily lost access to you! And opposition reflex which is so awful on leash is now a useful tool!!! It's all a matter of context!
I agree with Lynn about the sheer joy Webster displays and the joy of watching that!
Rooster was enjoying home court advantage and he has certainly earned every bit of the admiration he has induced!
Miller did such a nice job working with the Hannah and if her parents rent her out maybe she could come have "camp" in CO?
